The making of the Village Hotel

It has taken 7 years to make the Village Hotel here in Breb Maramures. It has been a labour of love. We have gone over budget, made mistakes and learnt as we have gone along. I will add when I have the time more vidoes and pictures here to show what was involved and the frustrations and wins we had along the way. 

The hotel is far from finished. We still need to renovate three more wooden houses and finish the kitchen and the communal living room. But we are open and we are loving the fruits of our labour. Its been a long hard slog to get it to what it is today and we have a long way to go. But I have to remind myself I could still be commuting to London and dreaming of doing this. I am lucky, I have been able to follow my dream and build a little word that I would like to stay in when on holiday. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as we did when we starting building here in 2007.
